ENABLING SUSTAINABLE FASHION Dr. Sachin Patil Rajput (Swami) has been passionate about fashion design and paintings since a very young age. Upon graduating from the International Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD & JD Institute in Fashion Design & Merchandising & Science), he worked for various internationally renowned designers and multi-export houses. Apart from working as a senior fashion designer & merchandise manager with high-fashion hand embroidery & garment export companies in Mumbai, Dr. Sachin also pursued his diploma in naturopathy from Tilak University, Pune. Inspired by high fashion embroidery, Khadi, and handloom, while exploring his studies of fabrics for designers, Swami Sachin later launched his own brand, "Nation's Fabric & Product by Mikhadi," to make outfits in organic fabric. The sole purpose of launching the said brand was to make these more accessible, well-priced, and stylish to cater to the taste of urban cities with high-quality workmanship and to catch the imagination of the younger generation with cultural resonance and a sense of pride. As a strong believer in the "Indian ancient art" values of domestic manufacture, he has also provided employment to an immensely large population of artisans. As a result, Khadi is no longer just a device used by Gandhiji to achieve freedom. It is also becoming relevant to environmentally and fashion-conscious customers around the world.
